Montana Ballet Company Side Bar

Montana Ballet Company's Outreach

Throughout the years, MBC has provided a free Nutcracker dress rehearsal performance to thousands of underserved youth in the greater Gallatin Valley. The show supports one of MBC’s goals, to provide for all children the chance to experience the wonder of live performances.  We are proud to continue this tradition of giving back to our community.

Educational Outreach Programs
MBC's Educational Outreach Programs expose children of all ages to the art of dance and power of creative arts. Through lecture demonstration performances and experiential workshops, students experience first hand the creative powers of classical music and dance and are provided the unique opportunity to develop their own creative voice. Share the Dance
It is Montana Ballet Company’s (MBC) desire and goal to make our performances accessible to as many individuals and children in our community as possible.

MBC’s community outreach program, Share the Dance, gives Gallatin Valley’s arts patrons a unique giving opportunity. Through Share the Dance, generous donors sponsor admission tickets for special groups to attend one performance of The Nutcracker.

In this way, audiences who might not be able to attend otherwise can experience a magical performance of classical ballet.

Donations given to the Share the Dance program will benefit some of the following organizations:

Eagle Mount, The Help Center, Reach Inc., Thrive, Family Promise, Big Brothers and Sisters, Prevent Child Abuse, Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch, The Food Bank, and Area Retirement Homes, among others.

Donors may also designate an organization of their choice.

Participation in the Share the Dance program is a special way for individuals and corporations to touch someone’s life, and at the same time, express their support and appreciation of the arts in the Gallatin Valley.
